Who is responsible

Smile Digital Lab, a dental laboratory in São Paulo, Brazil, is the controller of the data collected through this website.

What we collect and why

This site has no sign-up and no advertising cookies. We collect three things: (1) cookie-free audience measurement that doesn't identify you, so we know which pages get read; (2) your email address, only if you subscribe to the technical letter, to send it; (3) technical server logs (IP address, date, page requested), kept briefly by our hosting provider for security.

Technical letter (newsletter)

Subscribing requires email confirmation: nothing is stored until you click the link. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes your address from the mailing list. Legal basis: consent (Brazil's LGPD, art. 7, I).

Patient data

This site does not collect, receive or publish patient data. Clinical cases are only published with the dentist's consent and without any information that could identify the patient. Cases are sent through the portal, which has its own privacy notice.

Who we share data with

With the providers that keep the site running, only as needed: hosting (Railway), email delivery (Resend), audience measurement (Umami) and, when enabled, bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). Some are based outside Brazil; transfers follow article 33 of the LGPD.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, portability or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent at any time (LGPD, art. 18). Reach us via the channels on our contact page.
